It appears that like others on the forum, I've experienced an exasperating few weeks since the end of the alpine wildflower season. I haven't been out shooting as much as I'd like. However, I've been able to find a few gems to take pictures of between all of the personal commitments, the recent thunder & wind storms and challenging fall color conditions. Here's one of them, an image from a photogenic sunrise at a sunflower field near Loveland from late August. Thanks and C&C welcome.

That's a pretty sweet Sunflower field Joshua, nice clear view to Longs & Meeker. Nice colours and exposure, and I like your Composition with the step of flower heads in the fg!.

Very nice. It appears that the sea of sunflowers extend to the base of the mountains. Good use of thirds with the horizon and Long's location.

What separates this from other sunflower images is the fine mountain background, and the composition shows everything just right. Great job of 'developing', too. Well done!
I like everything about this one, Joshua. The comp, colors, and light are all just excellent.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm actually looking forward to the snow too, Stan, since my shooting for the fall color season was almost non-existent.
