I like the texture created by the water ripples, and great color. I'd be tempted to crop a tiny bit off the left side and maybe a little off the top as well to give the leaves more attention in the frame.

Nice shot...I especially like the ripple highlights in the water.

Nice eye for the detail in the stream. The colors are really nice.

Very cool! I really like the look of the light and ripples over the leaves. What shutter speed where you shooting at?

For reference, here is the stream from which the picture was taken. I have several more shots. Ofte a polarizing filter is used. I did not bring mine with me but some of the shots have a very pleasing play of light. I'll attach them over the next several days.

Here is another and I'll follow tomorrow with the last one, probably the most colorful.
I really like the last one you posted. The color contrast between the two leaves is very eye-catching. Can't hardly even tell those leaves are under water, because the water is so clear. My husband just loves those clear, Flint Hills rock bottom creeks (and so do I). Do you live near Topeka? I ask because you mentioned you shot this near Eskridge.

One more photo. I took a lot and most turned out as I had hoped.
Angela, I live in Topeka and one of my clients owns significant property south of Eskridge.
