After utterly failing to capture any good autumn images in my front yard, I retreated to my backyard 'comfort zone' this weekend.
This is a 4 shot panorama taken up on Hunt's Mesa high above Monument Valley.
Any tips on processing/cropping would be greatly appreciated!

Love the light and shadow in this one. Adds some depth. Maybe just a little more sky.
The light and detail is amazing. It has a little bit of a crowded feel to it and it might be, as Dan said, due to cropped sky. I also wish there was a little more sense of scale to the "bones" since I've never seen the place on my own.

Damn fine, John.
For me, it would depend on what the sky looked like before I decided if I wanted more...Clouds: more sky; no clouds: it's fine as it is.
But, in any case, it's great.
Wild landscape--i like it as is! Ive gotta get down there this winter...

I like how none of fg objects are intersecting with the buttes in the bg. You got some great light here and the stitch looks great. Like others have said, a little more room at the top would've been nice. This is especially so if you're thinking of printing and framing it as you'd lose a little more up there.
Excellent pano, and I also like the strong shadow lines.

I like this too, John. I'm also wishing for a little more at the top, but it's not a big deal. If you're using PS CS4 that will be easy to fix.

Thanks so much for the suggestions and comments.
Including a bit more sky seems to be a consensus. Paul is right....using CS4, I can 'stretch' the sky upward a bit without any distortion.
