Ok, I'm probably showing my age by the reference to the "Schoolhouse Rock" series of short educational cartoons that used to come on Sat. morning on ABC in the 70's, but I couldn't resist
This old schoolhouse is made of rock though, and has a very weather-weary roof. Scott Bean showed us this on our tour of the Tuttle Creek area with him on Sat. This is near the Olsburg marsh, where we also saw a bald eagle on its nest. I liked the colorful trees that were off in the distance and wanted to show a sense of where this old relic is located.

I like it, Angela. The clouds give a good sense of depth. It's good to hear that the eagles are still using that nest. Scott pointed me out that way back in the spring.

"Conjunction junction, what's your function..." I remember School House Rock well. I used to live for Saturday morning cartoons (of course this was before you could get them 24/7!)
I like the composition of this shot and it's nice when the sky cooperates with our efforts. Good job!

"I'm just a bill, just a bill up on capitol hill".....Ya, I'm with you! This school house does rock. What a great find! The composition really leads you to the school house and I love, love the blue sky balancing it all out up at the top...Great shot!

Very nice Angela,'
If the roof were not falling in one would not know it was an abandoned building.
Any chance you can get the farmer to move the hay bales?

Very nice shot! Good color and I like the layered look of the clouds.
Ahhh School House Rock, I remember that! And thanks Bryan, now I have "Conjunction junction, what's your function..." stuck in my head!

"Lolly Lolly Lolly, get your adverbs here"! Good job all around Angela. The hay bales aren't a bad thing either. Thanks for sharing.
