Being in Crested Butte area too early wasn't any fun for the grand landscapes however it gave me the opportunity to find some more intimate images of the aspens. The first one is an in camera blur of a small grove of aspens on Ohio Pass. C&C is welcome.
I have also posted my favorite image that I have processed so far from fall in Man & Nature.

This one is of a roadside grove of aspens that was very dense and was letting a lot of delicate light through the leaves.

I like the sunburst, but I am more attracted to the abstract shot Jim. I like that one quite a bit. Nice job adapting to what nature gave you.

I agree with Kurt. I also like the abstract image! Joe.

I like the abstract one too. But for some reason it has that stretched feeling to it which I'm not sure I like. But a really neat image.

I like the first one, but I think I'd be tempted to crop the top to just below the distant ridge and the bottom to near to top of the little aspen. Good job being creative.

The first image is very creative. I like the sun coming through the leaves in the second image.

I also enjoy the first abstract image.
I concur with the 'stretched' feeling though, and agree with the suggested cropping.

That first one turned out great. I rarely get dizzy with these, but this one does it for me. I think it's the tightness of the contrasty, thin aspen boles spread throughout. No matter, it's a great image. And I like the composition of the sunburst photo.

Like the first one. Never much of a fun of digital sunstars, though I like the comp.
