The Garden & Moon - Lemonade?
Drove down to Garden of the Gods for sunrise Monday and ended up in the fog. My original objective was to shoot the full moon over the Kissing Camels, but the fog layer deleted the moon from the equation. My first thought was that I would be served lemons once again (aka, Maroon Bells experience several days ago - check my blog), but though I'd just wait it out to see if I could make lemonade...

Well, the fog lifted just in time for the moonset! The result was this shot from the visitor center, which I call "First Light".

...and here's the classic image with the full moon behind the Kissing Camels. By the way, near as I could tell there were just three of us who were patient enough to capture this event.

...finally, this is what we saw just minutes before the fog cleared.

That second image is very nice. Great colors as well.

1st one is my fav, great shot Ken, wonder if it's worth boosting the contrast in that one a bit, and/or burning the rock wall just a little.

All are nice shots. For my tastes, I would prefer a little more saturation and contrast, but you might prefer something a little more subtle.
