American Kestrel
Captured this kestrel at Crown Hill Park this morning. I have been observing this pair for awhile, and notice they hang out around two or three trees. The male is a little more tolerant then the female.
Thanks for looking.

Not an easy shot, perfect focus and exposure, nice. What iso did you use?

Being a small raptor, It's tough to get close to these guys before they fly off. Great shot!

Dan, I can't ever seem to get close to these guys. Great shot. Like the detail, the perch and the blue sky!

Tough little guy, huh? Very nice shot.

Very nice. And the image very sharp. That is, everywhere except for when the branch reaches the RHS. Perhaps a tighter crop to eliminate the softness if it doesn't destroy the rest of the composition?

Very pretty little birds. One of my favorites.
