I shot this a couple days ago in between the raindrops. The Little Carp river area of the Porkies offers a lot of possibilities. I spent several hours there and felt I barely scratched the surface in terms of compositions. Comments welcome, as always.
Nice shot. I was there a week ago and it looks like things are looking a little more like fall. I'm going back in about a week hopping to find more leaves on the ground.
I was last at Overlooked Falls in 2002. Tons of potential at that location, and further downriver as well, as I recall. I think Greenstone Falls is the next waterfall in that direction.
Nice image, Brian. I think I'd prefer a bit more room at the bottom, for what that's worth.

Excellent image, Brian. Thanks for expanding my list of "go to" places. I would agree with Kerry about including more of the bottom pool. From what I see, colors aren't quite peaked yet, no?

Thanks for the comments, they are much appreciated! I took several shots of this scene from a variety of angles, and thought the ones with the pool included looked a little bright. Thanks to the comments, I have re-evaluated the situation and included this shot to show the difference.

Thank you Brian for providing a POI to pssible check out or add to a list. I am heading north tomorrow with a bud. He can be mistaken as a life long UP'er. Goal - fall color, POI's, waterfalls, light stations/light houses, whatever catches our fancy. FWIW - I like the repost. The pool mirrors the upper one. Sweet post and a sweet site. Thank you for sharing and inspiring.

I think the second view is stronger. It gives a good feel for the falls.
I hope you got to wall both upstream and downstream while you were there. There are a lot of nice compositions all the way along the stream.

You have my vote for the second posting, Brian. Good comp, lighting and exposure on the water.
