I like this one very much Phil, great colour and detail. If it was possible, I would prefer a crop off the bottom and more room across the top imho. But a very pleasant image regardless....

Nice image of a Dunnock Phil but the hole in the bark and the moss bottom right are drawing my eye. Maybe a crop? Nice detail and POV though

A lovely dunnock picture Phil and I like the perch. Personally I would like to see a bit more room to the right and I would take out that tiny bit of leaf at the top right but those are just minor niggles. A fine image.

Nice. Good sharp image and good separation from the background.

Yeah great detail as usual. For me seems a little unbalanced compositionally. More at the top for me and less at the bottom. Nice though :toast:

Crop issues aside, you've captured the character of the bird well.

Cheers,

Phil

Splendid detailed Dunnock. So many choices on the crop issues and thats secondary and personal preference.

I would have liked the Dunnock to have been lower in the frame, otherwise an excellent shot.

Nice dunny Phil but the stump seems a bit dominant for me.

The bird is just superb! I'm with the others on the composition - a little of the bottom would help.
