recent trip

I need to stop lurking around and participate more. Recently I had to go to CA and decided to add another 2 days to shoot along the coast. On the first day, it was overcast with the sun becoming a spot light. Here are some of the images. I would appreciate any feedback.

I am torn between this one and the next. Any helpful comments are appreciated.

I like the 3rd image the best. One thing I like to do with images like these is use a neutral-density filter to get long exposures and blur the motion of the waves. It can sometimes add an interesting extra element to the shot.

I like the first one and the 3rd one. For me, the last two just aren't that interesting.

I like 2 for it's color and 3 for the wave spray.

Another vote for #3, with #1 close behind. Nice collection, looks like it was a productive trip!.

I'm partial to the first one. I really like the warm/cool contrast between ocean and land, as well as the wonderful texture of the water.
