Red deer - no porn this time but it is wild
A slightly different view of a red to that of Julian C's, captured in the highlands.
C&C welcomed.

Cheers,
Chris

Like it Chris, pose is nice as is the comp, though I'm not sure about the box at the bottom of the image, is that for text ?

A nice capture, but he border does not quite work for me particularly the base.

A good strong portrait Chris set in what we have come to imagine as being the Red's 'natural' environment.

I'm not sure about the border but the pose is great. Winderful shot and midtone colors.

Lovely image and pose Chris but got to go with most on the bottom border

nice image, I assume the border is trying to show how you have cropped the image?

Agree with the rest about the box but a beautiful image and really nice background :toast:

Thanks for the feedback everyone, much appreciated. I really enjoyed pitting my wits against wild red deer and although they weren't as flighty as I'd anticipated it was still challenging to get this sort of shot, even with a 700 mm combination.

As for the boarder, I think it is safe to say I didn't really pull it off. Just a little experiment for another project I'm involved in.

Thanks,
Chris
