John, that's near Crested Butte. Just go south from the top of Kebler Pass.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes! Wow, I can't believe I got picked for the cover. It's really an honor for me to be chosen. I took this during my fall trip in 2007. I was out a week to early for the best fall colors but I made the best of it. I arrived at this pullout on the Ohio Pass Road well before sunrise to find it completely socked in with clouds. Figuring this was as good as any place to wait, I hung around for a few hours and this was my reward!

Wow! I accidentally clicked on "Home" instead of "Forum" and Laurie's shot appeared. This is a real "Holy Cow!" shot - just sensational. If this is what I've been missing, I guess I'll have to start checking out the monthly shot more often.
