One from yesterday as the pink footed geese are beginning to growing numbers we are also getting the few barnacle geese early in the season.

The birds in flight look nice and sharp Phil, not sure about the geese in the foreground, maybe a little more room at the bottom might help or maybe do away with them completely.

If you take a crop line just above the fence posts its a fine flight shot. I find the lower grounded geese distracting just my humble opinion.
I don't have a problem with the general idea of the grounded birds as it does give the flying birds a 'destination' as it were, but it is unfortunate that so many are cropped in half. If you have any spare room at the bottom I would try to include more of the birds on the ground.
However, I still prefer the image as it is to the suggested 'flight' crop as, to my eye, the bank in the middle ground intrudes on the flock. Lovely sharp birds in flight, they really 'pop'.

the flying geese are fine but I would try a larger crop and get rid of the ones on the graound
