I wanted to get out and enjoy the fresh snow yesterday, so i took a moonlit walk up to Medano Pass. Heres the view from below the Pass at sunrise.

The aspen leaves on snow was kinda cool.

Nice mix of snow and Fall colors. Had lots of fun driving my 2WD out in the slushy mud too.

That third image is really nice with the pattern of leaves on the snow.

Nice job of finding some lingering leaves, especially this year, Stan. #1 is definitely my fav of this selection, but as everyone knows, I'm a sucker for wide angle vistas in early morning light. The snow dusting is an added plus.
#2 is by far my favorite. Besides the unique composition of leaves, grasses and snow, I like the play of light.

I like 2 and 3 with 3 being my favorite of the two. Nice handling of the dappled light. Tough to get right and you did a good job.

Nice work Stan. I like all of them, but number 2 is the most unique to me. I like how the sun streaks across the shot as well as the patterns in the leaves.

I'd say you discovered some nice gold, Stan. I'm digging #2.
