Nice comp, Gary, definitely different than what you see in calendars and on Webshots! The gold FG is nice, works for me. I really like the almost half-color half B&W effect that's obviously natural.

Where exactly is this barn (always wondered that)? Hard to get to or near a highway?

A paved road Antelope flats leads to the North barn then 1/2 mile dirt to the south barn,The barns are on Mormon row,

Great shot Paul,
One of my fav barns, would love to see this in B&W. I think there is a dust bunny just to the left of the tree on the right side on the bottom of the clouds.

Love that "crazy" light. Great image.

Darn that's a nice image. Love the textures here and the earthy tones.

Just a thought for the future - I'd love to see a slightly higher perspective on the scene, planting the barn peak soldily within the forested mountain slopes. If possible it might be worth bringing one of those fold-up ladders and shooting down on the scene.

Invite me along and I'll steady the ladder

Nice, I'm a sucker for moody skies.

Nice moody scene bryan, but several dust spots.

A little clean up and maybe some curves adjustment to make it pop a little more, and it's a winner.

LOL! Poor Gary, twice in this thread the kudos were given to someone else (once me and once to Bryan)... I think we all need more sleep.
