First off great to meet a few from here at Bradgate yesterday, Phil , Maggie , Ian , Danny a big hello .
After a non event Thursday and Saturday morning, a good 'non' breakfast seemed to do the trick on Saturday and eventually waiting for the promised light paid off.( but boy was I in the dog house for getting back late.)
Arriving on Thursday morning, one would have thought the Queen was putting in an appearance ,there were that many photographers .Big hello to Andy P, Steve, Mike and Mark G from thursday.
Saturday was a little more subdued and the congregated throng in one area of the park dispersed progresively .Thanks Maggie for the truth behind your swimming lesson.( I thought it was Ian all along...LOL)

All C/C 's welcome
I'm unclear from the posts I've read whether the rut has got into full swing yet?
Cheers,
Chris

Thanks for the input so far all .
In answer to the questions .
The rut is underway at Bradgate and on the Chase .BUT it depends on what you are expecting to see .The fallow bucks are adopting a push pull at both .
The reds are roaring as can be seen , but not much in the way of out and out scrapping. There has been one minor skirmish witnessed on thursday by me .The dominant stags are running around keeping all collated hinds in check . Second tier stags are doing their decorating bit and having vocal practice.
The reds are far more prominant than a couple of weeks ago , but still take some tracking down for the more active ones.Flehming is occuring .
Oh and yes I'm still in the dog house .Thanks Jules for the reminder....mate . Even washing her motor isn't cutting the mustard .

The relatively low angle and clear sky really make this one for me.
Thats a nice one, like the PoV with the stag predominant in the OOF fore and background.

Thanks again all . Most kind.
Thanks for the response Maggie ,, I am in big trouble with Ron now . Alan Heeley will let me know why no doubt. Oh and Andy A is still taking the tablets for his dog fobia . It was only a small dog too. LOL

Excellent POV, and I like the way his eye is looking at the viewer. Very nice indeed.
