My name is Hendrik (without the "c" ) and I hail from South Africa. I`m an Exploration Manager in Geology which afford me the opportunity to travel and see places which I will otherwise only dream of. Currently I`m working in the West African country of Guinea.

Welcome Hendrik! Great to have another geologist/photographer on board. My formal training was in petroleum geology, but I got tired of the cyclical nature of the business and went into teaching. My specialty was MSS and radar image interpretation, with a little open hole log engineer/analyst work thrown in. I'm really looking forward to seeing some of your work from the far corners of the earth.
