Saturday was a day of crazy traveling for us. We drove to War Eagle, hoping for good color, but really nothing, and wasted the great cloud coverage. By the time we got to Kings River Falls, it was bright sunshine, so the shooting conditions were not great, although the drainage area was great for shooting. Headed to Richland and was able to get a few decent shots before the sun faded on us. I wish now we would have just gone to Richland. The color is much better Richland way for sure.
This shot was on our way out on Falling Water Road, looking back towards the campground, close to Six Fingers...
I couldn't manage to keep the sky out of my shot, nice job.

Awesome color and composition, Karla! This has to be one of the most beautiful drives in the country.

Beautiful shot Karla. So is the road open from Falling Water Falls to Richland Campground?

John, we didn't venture down that far. I'm assuming it is still the same because at the beginning of the road it said the campground was closed.I wish they would get that fixed!

I love the reds in this one Karla. One of my favorite areas.

John, the campground and road are both still closed.
