Suggestions for late fall trips (within next 2 weeks)

Hi folks,

Since it has been a late fire season this year, I couldn't get away for any time off until now. I'm trying to find somewhere to go from around the 18th - 25th of October and looking for some suggestions. I've heard there has been a lot of road construction in several of the parks this year, and along with the last storm, maybe some of the roads are closed for the season?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hi Marcy. In my experience the week that you are looking at would be great about anywhere in southern Utah. We have targeted mid October for many trips and have never been dissapointed.

Hmmmm - another great idea. Gosh, I haven't been to that area in a long time. One of the people here in the dispatch office just transferred from out there and she said to check on the "mesa" to see if there was still some color.
