Yes Julian I have but felt the look away and down was a bit more appealing, but that is only with my eyes. Will add one this evening for you to look at.
Many thanks everybody for you welcome comments. Appreciated.

Scouring the ground for worms I assume? Its a great study and those eyes are gorgeously captured.I'm of the same opinion as Lewis ...I cant quite make my mind up on the upper steelwork ..

A lovely LO Major, he is nicely framed, and as said already, the cobweb is the icing.Nice one.

The bird, the cobweb and the framing are great. The bright green really catches my eye though and I wondered about possibly cropping a bit from the left to make that area less dominant, or even just to reduce the brightness a little? Wish it were mine!

Super typical look, a very nice image, I'm with Ian and find the green patch a little overpowering, I don't think it would take too much work to reduce its prominence.

Not much time to do it but a rough go at toning down the green and one with the bird looking directly towards me.
Many thanks.

Both cracking images Major but I think the toning down of the green in the second shot is so very noticeable and doesn't look quite right to me, all other aspects are spot on though. Nice work as always.
