Schoolhouse Falls
This was the second falls I shot last Saturday, Butler Falls is at the head of the enormous gorge along the Ohio River in Jefferson County Indiana, this is Schoolhouse falls which is about 100 yards down the gorge toward the river.

The light was beautiful about the time I got around shooting this one, at the very top of this falls there are also a couple of ten foot falls that feed into this one.

Very beautiful area but you better be able to hike if you want to see these, no trails and most lie on private property, so far I have been getting permission to explore and hopefully it will stay this way.

Another nice shot. Wish I was closer would gladly hike a ways to see this falls. Just showed it to my wife and she said but it is not close to here, I replied of course not if it was I would have already drug you to it.

Very nice light here, Bernie. I like everything about it but the falls are a bit too centered for my taste. I really like the way the light is hitting the cliff and refracting back through the falls.

Perfect ss choice here. I'm a tiny bit bugged by the extremely bright sky here, which is pulling my eye. Might have been a good candidate for a blend of two images.
