I cannot figure how to register with the portfolio section.
I understand that membership to NPN allow one to do that.
I've tried using my current NPN number, my login and password but that doesn't work. I've tried other login names and passwords but to no avail. I'm missing the boat somplace.
Any coaches out there??

Not sure if you found these directions, but maybe this will help.
Register. Use the "Manage Portfolio" link on the Home page, and then click "Register." On the next screen, select the "Members/Subscribers:Click Here to Register" button. Use the "Help" link at the top of the registration page to guide your through the registration process.
Note - A separate registration is required for the Nature Photographers website. Use the Member Set-up Guide for instructions on how to register and set your your membership benefits on NPN.
Build Your Online Portfolio. Once you have registered, use the "Manage Portfolio" link to add, edit and delete images. Be sure to read the "Submission Guidelines," a link to which is found on the "Manage Portfolio" page.

Hi Larry,
I'm not sure what the issue might be, but I just now logged in using my same username and password that I use here on npn. Which is how I always have done it. I really don't remember how I initially registered, but I think I did have some of the same trouble as well. I believe you may have to actually register there as well before you can log in.
If all else fails and if Jim E. doesn't see this question here, just post the question in the NP Discussion forum and I'm sure here will resolve it for you promptly.

I always get a redundant answer. My ID is being used already. OK. So then when I try to enter using my ID for NPN, including membership no., I get an answer that I have to register.
I'm doing something wrong but I can't figure it out.
