Two Geese
1D2n, 600mm f4 is, 1/500s, f4, iso 500

I rowed across Loch Tummel in my home-made boat to get a new angle on the birds. There was an eerie mist, just starting to rise as the sun came over the hills. This won't be to everyone's taste, but for me it captures the beauty of the place. Comments and critique always appreciated.

Very nice indeed and I love the higher res version. I love the way the water and mist blend together. Perhaps a smidge more off the bottom?? What do you think?

hi Ian

Like this a lot - very atmospheric - but as Tim suggests, maybe a bit off the bottom?

cheers

Larger version is brilliant, I am a big fan of these shots. Is this full frame as I would prefere more "environment" but thats just me

Home-made boat - all sounds very Bear Grylls to me Ian

Very atmospheric shot, though for me I think it could do without the little line of rocks.

Nice work though - well seen :wavey:

That's a lovely shot Ian. I too would prefer it without the rocks but I'd be more than happy with it as it is anyway.

Robert.
