Candle Creek, on the Metolius
Hey folks,
Two weeks ago we went up on the Metolius and spent the weekend camping. This was taken right across from Candle Creek which is about 15 miles north of highway 22. It got down to 23 degrees both nights and the colors were definatly starting. The river here really roars, probably the most white water you'll see on the river

Erik, a beautiful scene. I think you chose a great shutter speed for this water.

Looks great, Erik! Dynamic water flow; lots of depth for f5.6. Very nice.

Very pretty river scene. And from me also, nice speed for the water.

I also agree that you chose the right shutter speed to show movement Erik, while still keeping the detail intact. The Metolius is a place I've wanted to go since seeing pics in a coffee table book years ago!
