My first attempt to post an image. Hope it works. This is my favorite Monument Valley image from a Hunt's Mesa outing October, 2nd.
I was fortunate to have John Mumaw and his wife as companions and fellow shooters.
It was, to me, a once in lifetime trip....something I have always wanted to do,and something I will always remember. I encourage anyone to do likewise. The guides were fantastic, knowlegable, and quite skilled in getting a 4wd Suburban to go where practiclly no road existed.
All CC welcome.

This looks awesome Joe, but at 346 pixels wide on the long end, it's far too small to comfortably view.
You're allowed 720 pixels on the long end of the image here. Hope you take full advantage of it with this image.
Why not delete this thread and try again?

Agreed - this looks like it deserves to be shown BIGGER!

Looks really nice, but I'd need to see it bigger to be sure.

I will try to repost at a better size when I am allowed, since I cant find a way to delete
the first image.
Thanks,

This really looks sweet Joe. Can't wait it see it larger. I felt the same way as you about the trip when I took it last summer. Good to see you got great light.

John is correct. You'll see two boxes "edit" and "delete" on the same line as your post on the Forum page. You have to be logged in to see them. I also want to see this in a larger size! It looks pretty cool.

I am logged in, but, the boxes are not there on my first post with the image. They are on my other posts in the thread, so, there must be something about the original post you cannot delete. I will repost the image when my time constraints are up.

This does look pretty darn sweet, but needs to be bigger as mentioned. I would try posting larger version in this thread as Jack mentioned.

Oh Yeah, this is what I like. An awesome image with just the right light! Excellent comp Joe. Can't wait to see more of your work.
Very, very nice! But I'm not sure about Cat Stevens for the soundtrack. The vantage point makes for a very dynamic comp.

Gorgeous! After comparing it to my shots, I've surmised you must have shot this in the morning a short walk from where you camped?

Fabulous!

Thanks all for the praise and advice......yes, Guy, it was indeed a short walk from the camp on a crisp fine morning, and that sight made me grateful to be alive....thus the title "Morning has Broken" from the same childrens hymn written in 1931 (Cat Steven's came later) that gives thanks for each new day.
Jesse, I will lighten up the foreground. Thanks for the CC.
