Hi all
Tested out my 7D on Monday so decided the best place to take it was Gigrin. Performed very admirably. Focus is a hell of a lot better than my 40D!
Still need to upgrade Lightroom now though as my version doesnt support the 7D RAW files so apologies for my photoshop processing!

Hi Ian, Glad to see your 7D is performing well, very nice shot. lighting is great. I like the background too gives the shot some reference.
would be interested to know what focusing modes you used for this.
having fun with my 7D too.
did you use DPP to process the RAW or just ACR

Looking at the data on the camera, i was using zone autofocus for flight stuff and AI SERVO mode.
Mark, whats ACR? i just used photoshop to convert the RAW, but didnt like using this at all to process it. Im going to have to buy the latest lightroom as its a much easier way of processing and filing.
Heres the shooting data straight off the camera.
