Great stuff, Jesse! Both are so wildly different and work in their own way. The openness of the front yard in #1 just draws me in to the cabin and mountains - a very unusual comp that I never woud have seen.

The first is very nice for many reasons, but the lines of the fence in the second make it my favorite of the two.

Tough choice I love both shots for different reasons. Well executed Jesse

I like 1 but I really like 2, probably because, like Dave, I would have stood right there and never took the shot. The old pole fences are really photogenic.

I like the high key look in the first, but the second is even better!!
2 down 88 to go. Your toning and vision in the first one is uniquely you. The second is another example of your great eye for comps and light in a commonplace scene.

Love that first one!
You have a great eye for b&w photography, and the editing chops to make your vision come to fruition.
My hat's off to you for that.

I've never seen a good photo of Cunningham Cabin...until now. Awesome photos, both of 'em. Great work, Jesse!

Thank you fellas. I'm especially proud of that first one ... as I keep trying to push myself beyond my own boundaries. It's one of my favorites from the trip.

I like them both, but that first one is incredible. You have a great eye, Jesse.

They have an unidentifiable crisp quality to them. Probably just a culmination of your pp technique. Very nice.

Both fantastic shots, wish I could have made it down there but oh well. Love the foliage in the 2nd one.
