That must be why you meet the nicest people at a nature photography web site.

Launch the slideshow at the top of the article and check out number 16 by NPN member Sean Bagshaw (or just click here). I recognized the image due to this recent post in the Weekly Challenge Gallery.

Read the article, it makes perfect sense to me..
I'm a classic example..feel more "connected" than ever before in my life.
You should have seen me before I took up nature photography
The act of observing nature & recording its wonder will always produce a positive result.

Yep, makes sense to me! I know I'm more relaxed when out of the city and especially if I'm surrounded by nature and ESPECIALLY if I'm surrounded by nature with a camera in my hand!

Ask anyone who knows me well; I'm in my best moods when I get plenty of time to hike, mountain bike, camp and photograph. Give me 3 or 4 weeks stuck in the house and office and I get REALLY grumpy.
Interesting read, Jim. Thanks for posting the link.
This supports what I stated with my post in the NAD 2009 forum that we are as much a part of nature as the other creatures in it. We do not do as well when taken out of it.
It stands to reason that it makes us nicer. And it makes us happier too.
