It already was slightly raining when I took this shot but I knew I didn't have long before I got real wet. I also had to contend with some wind. What really attracted me to this shot were the tall delicate stems of grass along the shoreline of a lake high in the Wyoming Beartooths. All comments welcome. Thanks.
Impending wetness. We've all been there, and you convey it really well here. Nice balance of tones, comp, and color.

Love the extreme angle of view here, and your low perspective really pulls it off. Those are some menacing clouds! You weren't joking about the weather up there.

I also really like the extreme wide angle here. It really makes the shot reach out and grab the viewer. The elements are nice, too. Beautiful shot all 'round!

I really like the potential those clouds have. I can see in those tall pines where you've already adjusted the levels of the clouds (at least it looks that way to me), and was debating whether you could push the limit a little more up there without turning the trees black.

Another admirer of the extreme wide angle, and I like the the rocks in the foreground.
Nice and sharp from fore to aft, and the skies look great, too!
