Lee Vining, Eastern Sierra, CA, Fall
I photographed this image in the fall of 2005
in Lee Vining Creek Canyon in the Eastern Sierra
at dusk. The lighting was even, but the colors
weren't very vibrant. In post processing I
enhanced the color. Your comments/critiques are
welcome.

Robert, I like the way you framed the water leading into the frame and of course, the colors. I wondering about a crop at the gap between the branches in the upper part of the frame. Still, a pleasing fall image for sure. Best Regards.

I love the red and greens on the floor next to each other here Robert. You combined a lot of nice elements.

Robert, the contrasting colors makes for a really nice view here. This small grouping of colorful aspens in this composition was actually more then I recall seeing my entire week this year around the LVC area.

I have some fall color shots from Bishop Creek in Oct 2006, but this year I really tried to take in the fall color frenzy. Honestly, I fed on the excitement of the other CANP members. Still have not processed them all.
Robert,
This post has a calm feel to it even with the creek in the picture. I think the long exposure goes a long way to supporting the calm emotional tenor. The mix and richness of the colors is really nice as well. Your post processing was right on.

I like the smattering of colors mixed through out the image. The placement of that boulder is very nice as well. I think a little opening up of the shadows would showcase some of those hidden colors in the bg more and make the bottom feel a little less heavy. Other than that, this works for me.
