I became interested in mushrooms as a result of learning of the incredible immune supportive/cancer fighting properties of several varieties, including maitake, shitake, reishi, chaga, turkey tail, etc. The other day I found a 3 lb maitake and I spend several days enjoying that wonderful superfood. Compared to that, the photos are just the icing on the cake! I've found a number of beautiful mushrooms in the last month or so, to the point where it warranted the creation of a new gallery on my website, entitled Mushrooms and Lichens. Check it out if you're a mushroom lover too. http://www.timfeeney.net
