Hello all,

hope you are all well. Sorry I haven't been around commenting and such for a while - haven't been shooting too much myself and lots of other things to get in the way too.

Just finishing of a holiday in South Wales so will be back to Norfolk in a few days - never sure which I prefer !

Anyway here's a common buzzard, it's a shot I have been after for a while now so I quite chuffed with it. It may not be to everyone's taste I know but that's why everyone is welcome for C&C !

Take care all !

Very nice image to come back with Drew, Hope you enjoyed your holiday. Excellent capture, I particularly like the way it is portrayed against the deep blue sky.

Great shot Drew, typical Buzzard image, that eye is very sharp  The only crit would be the slight halo I can see surrounding the bird maybe to much shadow and highlight?

I like the composition and the pose from the bird, also how the light appears to highlight the head, only minor nit is that there appears to be a lightish area aroud the front of the bird, the result of a bit of dodging? Easy to fix though....
