The other Keefe Falls
After checking out Keefe Falls just outside the Richland Creek Wilderness yesterday, I bushwhacked up the right-hand fork of the drainage looking for that other "W" noted on the map in Tim Ernst's Arkansas Waterfalls guidebook. I found a beautiful 25-foot fall spilling into a deep emerald pool at the head of a small shale box canyon.

Excellent, John, a great fall waterfall shot and one most of us have not seen. Thanks for sharing.

Love the color in this, John, and you've composed this nicely. Beautiful shot.

It was good to see you again...

Way to make it to the "W" John! I would like to see this. What great color!
I also like the way you framed this...It gives us an idea of the overall feel of the area. Nicely done.

Really beautiful John. Nice comp and an original location, with fall color. Can't get any better than that.

I think Gale sums it up pretty well. I love images of Twin Falls as much as the next guy, but it's also nice to capture some of the underappreciated gems of the Ozarks, and this image shows off this gem at its best.
