Here is a shot from just below the wooden bridge on Smith Creek that I made on Weds. Light and conditions were just perfect. When the water is running like it is you could spend days or weeks in there. I spent the morning shooting and then about 11 broke for a wonderful lunch of tuna/crackers/pudding/juice/water. Then a little 20 minute power nap. Shot quite awhile more and then when I was done I zoomed into Jasper and ate at the pizza place on the square with a dessert of great blackberry cobbler from the Ozark Cafe(same owners). I ate till I was hurting and then went to Fairview Campground to spend the night. I slept in the back of my covered pickup bed and watched the clouds roll through the campground until I fell asleep. What a great day in the outdoors!

Bob,
Nice shot, Smith Creek is indeed a magical place!
I enjoyed our hike and visit yesterday and thanks a TON for your help on the search!
By the way, I found an extra tripod in my Jeep this morning... Let me know how to get it to you.

Should be an extra pack also...but you have so many in your Jeep you would not notice it!
I already emailed you my phone number and we will get it worked out.
Hey Bob and Glenn. It was great meeting you two yesterday as I was hiking out from Twin Falls. Sorry I wasn't there to help with the search for Ed.
Great shot Bob! I've got to visit Smith Creek sometime. I've never been there. Thanks for finding my booties yesterday. It was tough hiking out of there barefooted. :-)

Looks good Bob...I agree, one could shoot here forever and still not capture it all. Gotta love Smith Creek! I like the overall warm tone of the shot. It screams fall.

Another shot from Smith. This is from high up the drainage on your right as you walk down the road into Smith Creek. There are a a ton of great spots but the problem is without a saw you are kinda limited due to a lot of logs being wedged in the channel. And do not forget the constant vines down all around that place. I see the need for a small hand saw. Tim E. carries one for just such a purpose I belive!

Bob, not only do I like the photos, but I like how you talk about the entire experience. Shooting, eating, napping, eating and napping again... It really does give a better picture about your photo, food and napping experience! Keep posting good pictures and details that satisfy my eyes and make me hungry!

Two really nice shots, Bob, and what a great day you must have had. It is a little bit of a challenge to work around all the downed trees, but you've done well here I'd say.
