CANP Members @ Four Seasons Gallery
The turnout for the recent gallery display rotation at the Four Seasons Hotel and Resort in Westlake Village here in southern California was truly exceptional considering the brutal So Cal Friday evening traffic challenges.

As many are aware from some recent posts here at NPN / CANP , Lon Overacker, Harley Goldman, and Steve Sieren were honored to show 8 large matted-framed prints each at the opening and they will remain on display at the facility through the end of this January as I understand.

The hotel and the personnel did a fabulous job all the way around with the layouts, lighting, and overall support as well as food and beverages to the guests in attendance. As I had access to the site about an hour a head of time I overhead that one of the site electricians remained all night the night before to complete the final zone lighting for each image on display that highlighted all the work with a very natural look overall.

Congratulations goes out to Lon, Harley, and Steve for their individual efforts, the honor of the selection, and to have played the biggest part amongst the collective artists on display.

Happy to have been on hand to review the work and in support of the CANP members was myself, Floris van Bruegel, as well as many friends, family members, and co-workers of Lon, Harley, and Steve.

I have posted a few photos from the event that were taken with my small P/S camera and sorry to say it does not do much justice to the overall quality of the entire venue.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing as some of us in Nor Cal are a little too far to make the commute. Everything looks great! Good luck Harley, Steve, and Lon.

Hey, thanks Paul very much for posting the pics and summary. And thank YOU for attending! Paul endured nearly 3 hrs of LA traffic to attend from Corona. He even bought a new pair of dress pants for the occasion! Thanks for coming Paul!

Great meeting Floris as well and sorry I missed you Mike - at least I don't remember seeing you there. Maybe it was the champagne?

While there were a lot of headaches leading up to the opening, I was pretty happy with the turn out. In fact.... one of my prints sold that night! I also made a couple of promising contacts - as I think Harley and Steve did as well.

Great night all the way around. Thanks again Paul!

The show was a lot of fun. The hotel did a great job of displaying the prints and providing food and alcohol. It was very well attended, too. Mike, sorry I did not get a chance to meet you.

Congratulations to Lon on selling a print. Your work looked stellar. I am surprised you did not sell more!

Here is a photo of Lon proudly pimping his wares.

The turnout was great and the wine and champagne made it even better. Nice to see you all there.

Nice pants Paul. Thanks for posting all of the shots and dredging that nightmare traffic to get there too. Now you know why I don't make it to Joshua Tree or San Diego because I can make it to Mammoth faster.

I heard there were a few more photos somewhere downstairs but never went looking for them. Them spending the time to get the lighting down really made a difference. It was a lot of fun!

This is much bigger than I imagined. It looks great too. Wish I could see all these lovely photos in person. Any chance the show will move to Flagstaff when it's finished at the Four Seasons?
