Superb shot Justin. Great colour and lighting and the breath is a big bonus. Where abouts was this taken?
I spent Saturday walking around the New Forest with no luck whatsoever. I did manage a few shots of the Fallows in the woods until the general public came out to play
I was also accosted by the wardens who were actively handing out leaflets telling people to stay away from the area where the deer are. After a brief discussion, the warden was happy for me to continue but he said that the general public was causing much stress to the deer there. As I said, the public did come along and did cause the deer some stress with loose dogs and youngsters running and shouting. I gave up before lunchtime and left.
Sorry for the slight rant here.
Great shot.

cracking image, though no doubt i am repeating all the above comments that breath is just superb
I know what you mean about the New Forest. It's very sad how things have declined in recent years.
I popped out there twice to have a look recently and thought it was incredibly poor, worse than it's ever been.
It doesn't help matters that either four or five stags have been shot this year and the few remaining deer get hounded into the enclosures, where they remain untill dark, by people with no understanding or regard for the deer whatsoever.

Hi,
Another image from last week, taken just as the sun was about to set.

All comments always welcome and appreciated.
If it were me, I might have boosted the contrast a little, but that's only my interpretation of a scene that I didn't see

This was taken at Bushy Park in London.
