A reference to my last post about a small fall. Now I'm down to even smaller elements because the record cold spell killed off just about everything else with color. These grasses kept catching my eye as I drove home each day, so finally I stopped and shot them. They were just along the roadside.

Interesting. I like #3 (maybe with just a little cropped off the bottom) and #6 the best. The out-of-focus elements in the others are just a bit too distracting.

I would agree with Joshua, I really like the third one. I would really like the others if the foreground was in focus.

Another vote for #3, with #5 a close second.
Agree with the previous posts about the OOF foregrounds in the others.
Kudos for trying at least!

Boy, talk about extremes! I like the shallow focus of the first and the intricate detail of the last best.

Thanks, TC. I think these boys have their lenses stuck on f16 Apparently I used a bit too much selective in the focus.

I like the selective focus, especially in the first shot. It looks like a abstract, I like the lines and different textures, well done.

Great set of images, I think the third is my favorite.
