Hi all,
Here is my personal pick from this years Kenya trip. The Cheetah had spent all day lying in the shade and then in the space of about two minutes it stalked, chased and ultimately killed this Thomsons Gazelle.
C&C welcome.

Superb timing producing an equally superb image. Well done indeed. Just been watching part 1 of Life which I recorded whilst in hospital. The 'Band of Brothers' cheetahs sequence, where they're working as team to bring down the ostrich, is epic.

An excellent image Austin with some great action going on there, I love the composition too! A very nice NH study.

Outstanding.
Gotta feel for the Gazelle at the moment of death, really captured the essence of the chase.

Awesome, I can't describe how much I'm enjoying this image. You have captured a natural spectacle incredibly well and as you say it's so very fast when it does happen. The expressions from both animals is very intimidating, very well executed and comp works very well.. Very nice indeed.
