Chase County Waterfall
I took a road trip through Chase County yesterday with some friends to photograph an old mill in Cedar Point, KS. The trees around the mill haven't turned yet, we where about a week too early. We did stop at the Chase County State Fishing Lake and check out the waterfalls there. Not much water flowing, but some. There was some color on the trees above the falls which made some nice shots. It was a beautiful day to be out.

This shot was as 4 shot blend. Canon 40D, Canon 10-22@10mm, f20, polarized.

A slightly different view from the one above.

I like them both but #2 is my favorite. I like the fact I can see the whole view and the reflection is an added bonus.

I'm with Amanda. I really like the added reflection in #2. Good job on the blend.

Scott, your blend is great, as well as your composition.

Really nice work on both, Scott. I think I like the first one best with the grass and leaves in the foreground.

I prefer the first image Scott. I think the details in the fg grass/leaves makes for a much more visually compelling image.

I think I like the second with the reflection. Too bad there's not more water. I thought we had had more rain than that. Nice to see some fall colors.

Nice Scott I like the reflection in the second one the best. Nice job on the sky and fall color as well.

I like both of them, Scott, though the first seems to have more impact. I love the really low perspective you got in that one. The colors are just fantastic in both. I thought this would be a cool place at fall, so glad you made it over there so you could share it with us.

These are both very nice and I don't think I can decide which I like the best, so I won't! Great job...I love the low angle on #1 and I love #2 for the great reflection...
