Not in Kansas any more
I shot these last night at one of the coolest places I have ever been, the Great Sand Dunes. I walked about a mile out into the dunes for sunset and fell in love with the place all over again. Here's a couple of my favorites.

This one is from just after the sun went down over the San Juan Mountains.

Here's another taken just a few minutes earlier than the other.

Quite impressive, Ken! I love the second one. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice! The first one is a great shot, but the second one, wow.

Lots of sand in your boots?

Both are nice Ken. I've always wanted to stop and shoot there. The second would be nice with the top part cropped off also I think.

Very nice Ken, I really like both. I'm hoping I make it out there within the next year. What a spectacular place. Thanks for sharing.

Both are great, but #2 is awesome! I love the ripples and the shadow play. Looks like you had a productive trip. Let's see more!

No doubt in my mind, number two has it all. Great light, lines and detail. Good work Ken!
