This gear has been babied! Plus, I haven't been out to shoot very often since I bought these from Jessee Speer. In fact, this post could be subtitled: Join the Jesse Speer gear club! (Since so many of us have bought gear from Jesse)
I have ordered the Canon 5D Mk II kit and can't afford to keep these around as back-ups so I wanted to make them available here before listing them on Fred Miranda. I am offering them just below FM prices so both offers are firm.
Canon 24-70 f2.8, $1000 (includes original box and everything that came in it like lens hood, etc.) Perfect condition.
Canon 5D, $1100 (includes original box and everything that came in it like software, instruction manual, battery (plus 1 extra battery)). Some wear on the hot shoe but looks really nice and works perfectly. (I can't take a picture of it because it's the only camera body I have right now.) I don't know how to check the number of actuations but if this is important to you I'll find out.
If interested or if you have any questions, feel free to email me at CAZ a t CAZimmerman d o t com.
One comes with the camera and the other comes with the lens. And for those of you interested in the pacifiers, unlike the camera and lens, the pacifiers have not been previously used.

It's not a complete kit without the diapers ... but I digress. I'm glad you were able to use those, at least.
Oh, yeah - that was the sharpest Canon zoom I ever used. Good deal. Thanks to all of you who have been taking such good care of my illegitimate Canon dependents.

Can ya take $50 down and $5 a month for 10 years? If I had the money I'd be on that lens in a heartbeat but I'm moving in 3 weeks and just don't have it now. I'm sure you won't have any trouble unloading it though.

I like your use of narrow dof, but I do wish all of the pacifiers were in focus. Also, there is a yellow cast to the shots, probably due to the tablecloth.
I sure wish I had a grand laying around. I could use that 24-70.
I already have the 24-70mm L but to all who are thinking about it, it is a KILLER lens that I would strongly recommend. If you shoot weddings/portraits or just want a really sharp short zoom you cant beat it.
Oh yeah - and I am also a member of the Jesse Speer Canon - hand-me-downs.
