It usually takes several months for the software to catchup with new body releases.

Thanks both
Its a crazy world where you buy one thing and everything you own is outdated just because of that one thing.
Is there any programs out there that are better than lightroom for editing, keywording and filing Canon RAWs?

hi Ian did send you an email, but i used the DPP that came with the camera, and also CS4 ACR, which is only beta at the moment so not tweeked enough to produce the best results so far. Bibble 5 will support 7D soon, and the beta raw for lightroom is due out too. so at the moment we are very limited,
it will only get better.

Just checked my inbox on my computer and I havent received the email Mark. Is there a section on here where the emails got to or would it have gone through to my normal inbox? This is the first time i've used the email section on this so not sure where its gone.
Discussion
5 repliesAfter buying a 7D, I can only process my RAW images through the Canon DPP as my lightroom version 1.4 does not support this file type.
Is the new lightroom 2.5 fully compatible with the 7D yet?
If it is and i do buy lightroom, is it easy enough to transfer all of the keywording and filing from the the previous version to the latest?
I would appreciate your answers as I'm scratching my head here trying to find the answers.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Ian
