Mist fills the valley on this cold October morning. Ebony RSW45, 47mm, Pro160. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks Tristan

A beautiful atmospheric landscape. A privilage to view. Love the view of the whole negative.
Looks like you've been using a Sigma SD14.

Owwww some film, lovely image I really like the soft colours and your eye is slowly drawn from the border and right into the image, wish there was more film landscape shown on this forum...

A beautiful landscape. Has a magical quality to it but I wonder what the object on the right-hand side is though. I find it a bit distracting. :wavey:

Lovely atmospheric scene Tristan - and I strangely like it with the notch code and the hanger grip marks left on :toast:

Great :wavey:

Apologies Tristan re my comment about the distraction on the right-hand side of the image. I know nothing about film imagery but have just had some techs pointed out to me so feel a bit of tube now

I am no landscape expert, but this is a very appealing image and a pleasure to view.

nice image. Really like the mist in the middle distance.

Gee I used to be able to tell which film was which in the dark from those notch codes, and you are emulsion side down here

Superb and like Andy I like the use of the whole sheet... looks like you have a little bit of fogging on the RHS, dodgy light trap on the darkslide?

Although the image captures the atmosphere of the location, I wonder if there is enough of interest in the scene overall to justify the time and expense. The rhs of the image is, for want of a better term, fairly messy, with no logical cropping boundary until you are well in towards the centre of the image. The (over?) dark foreground pushes ones eye in, towards the centre of the frame, but there is nothing there of significance for the eye to come to rest upon - it is the pale-coloured braken frond in the fg keeps drawing my eye. There may be some things that you can do with the scan to in Photoshop to produce an image with greater impact, but as presented it is rather lacking in the impact that I usually associate with your images. Just my opinion and rather different from the general consensus above.

I quite like this. A very peaceful and tranquil image. :toast:
