Planning a trip to the North West corner of Yellowstone to photograph Big Horn Sheep. Any suggestions on where and when for best action. Willing to Hike.

Just returned with some great photos of very calm sheep. Will post when i get the upgrade for Aperture, for my 7D

Well, for me... along the Gardiner River between Mammoth and Gardiner would be a great place to start the morning, then the Sheepeater Cliffs area later in the morning, and finally dusk near the Yellowstone picnic area north of Tower.

If you're going to the NW corner, don't rule out the Gallatin Canyon - if you don't run into them elsewhere. I see them there frequently, along the road.
