In honor of Ed, I thought I would rename Twin Falls for this post.
This was taken weekend before last while there was still some good color. By Saturday, much of it had faded or was completely gone. Judging from what I've seen posted here, I suspect the best color was last Wednesday when Tim E. was there.
wonderful shot Bill. I think I have a pano from this same spot, just five shots though. Yours has better color though and nice positioning of that tree on the right.

Looks like the wait was worth it! A big wow Bill! Amazing how different the color was.
I'm sure this will make a stunning print! Bravo!
Love the tribute to Ed too!

I'll probably be kicking myself for awhile for not finding a way to get up there with the both the water and foliage peaking. I am glad so many of you have taken advantage of it; the shots have been great.
Bill, this is fabulous as usual. You can think of the wait this way: you've undoubtedly improved your skills over those seven years, so you were better prepared when the occasion arose.

OK, I remember something about Ed being lost. What was the outcome? Is sounds like on this thread that he died. Surely not !!! the fisch

Fisch, you can catch up on Ed's progress by reading the first thread on the thread list.

First off Bill, this is a "classic" Bill Dark photo, beautiful image!
I can see where there could be some confusion because of the title but there are other named AR features with tributes to the living ... Pam's Grotto comes to mind.
Both are fine tributes to people very much alive.

Sorry. What and where is the "thread list"?

Larry, the thread list is what you clicked on to get to this page. It is a listing of the discussion threads.
With almost 1400 hits and 58 replies on Tom's thread about Ed's SAR, I really thought everyone was aware of what had gone on since last Thursday.

I've never seen a better shot of "Ed Cooley Falls". It was well worth the wait.
