I was looking at the images I posted earlier and I agree that were were some weird Color casts and softness. So with that I wanted to redo them at least on the Post Production side. I rushed the process and over did a few things out of being too tired to pay close attention to what I was doing.
Soooooo, with that said, let's see how these fair...

Looks a lot better than the previous versions, but it seems that there was more noise introduced in the process, I'm also wondering what a bit lighter sky would look like in both of them. Can't quite put my finger on it but something still seems off in the second photo, seems like it is a bit to purple maybe?

Some artifacts in the sky in #1 and the sky still looks a bit 'electric' in #2.
Both have some pretty blocked up shadows.

James - I wonder if your monitor is not properly calibrated, or at least, the brightness is way too high.
On my display these images look horrible - way too dark, lacking saturation. I suspect this is not what you're seeing.

I'm looking at them side by side now (assuming the second photo posted last time is a crop of the first posted this time) and I would say these are worse than the first ones posted. I agree with Nat that there must be something out of whack with your workflow in regards to color.
