Bathing Blackcap
Messy backdrop for some but its natural., and you can't be choosy when something like this turns up !
Pool No.2
Usual set up.

lovely sharp image John. For me personally I don't mind the back drop, it doesn't take away from the shot.

A good species to have visiting John. No problem with the backdrop either. Nice one.

A lovely shot John. Love the water droplets on her back. I have never yet managed a photograph of a Blackcap and you get them in your pool. Life is so unfair :frown:

Thanks people.
Difficult to know whatto do with man made pools, because if you try to get them too "natural" they look like this one, but then it all depends which bit the birds sit in front of.
Lot of bird hanging on with the mild weather too. This one was feeding on Damsons !
Thanks again

Spot on John :toast:

You cannot choose which bit they land in, any way I am jealous as all the blackcaps I have shot have been miles away :frown:

A bird I have yet to photograph John, even though there are quite a number my way. Very nice indeed. Green with envy here.
