Since it seems most of the CSNP was out in the Rockies over the last two weeks, I thought I'd post this one......
I had a week off and spent the time wandering out to Wyoming via New Mexico and driving through Colorado. On the way home I stopped for a day at Rocky Mountain National Park. It was cold, mostly clear, and very windy. Conditions were such that I just walked and used the LX-3 on that day at Rocky.
Here is one from Sprague Lake in RMNP.
I liked the way the light and shadow covered the grass and far shore respectivly.
Taken with Panasonic LX-3 in dynamic B+W mode.

I really like this a lot, Darren. Great light, composition and the conversion is well done. Beautiful.

Darren, I wish we would have had a chance meeting while in RMNP. I don't know exactly when you were there but we left last Saturday for home. It would have been really nice to meet you in person.
I really like your conversion here, such a good range from white to black. I also like the contrast of textures in this image.
Off Topic: For those of you who frequent Estes Park and shop downtown, the "Park Mall" in downtown Estes Park burned down this past Monday. Stories to be found online.

Nice, conversion, Darrren, RMNP is always a great place to be and you can always find something to shoot there. Thanks for sharing.
