I haven't posted here before, so I thought I'd post one of my recent images from Lassen Natl Park. This is a two shot horizontal panorama using 7 shots per panel and processing with Photomatix.

Sweet, Mike. I like the soft light. You obviously put a lot of effort into this.

Welcome to the California forum Mike.
I can't even see that photomatix was used, that's a good thing. The light and mist is fantastic. There is a lot of darkening on the left edge, I might crop that out to eliminate it. Other than that pretty nice. Fall color in Lassen isn't something I often see.

Mike,
Welcome to the CA forum, glad to have you here and thanks for posting. Looks like a great job with the stitching and processing. The only suggestion I can think of would be to see if you could lighten up the center area and mountain that is left of Lassen. It's a little darker, almost like a grad was used. Otherwise, this looks great and I'm sure will look even more wonderful in a large print!
Thanks for posting.

Pano works wonderfully here. The way you've framed it makes for a good balance. Giving the snow capped peak one third of the frame balances nicely with the larger yet less contrasty section to the left. Well done!
