one more from the Sand Dunes
I know this is a Central States Forum and I love Kansas but every now and then I have to get to the mountains (sorry guys, the ozarks just don't cut it). Here is another one from a whirl wind trip to Colorado last weekend. This was from Sunday morning.

I never cease to be amazed at the sight of the dunes with the 14,000 ft Crestones in the background. One more is on ESS.

Thanks for looking.

Ken, the dunes are an amazing place and it looks like you are doing them justice. I really like the contrasting tones of the dunes and the Crestones.

Ken, not bad for a south-central Kansas photographer (I grew up in Newton)....

The low sun angle really help this shot.

I wonder if the sunlighted faces of the dunes couldn't be selectively lightened??

Very nice Ken. Great composition and the lighting is magical. I'd very much like to see that location for myself some day.

Regarding our Ozark hills, my wife and I just spent the weekend immersed in them and we were saying "Wow!" about every 5 minutes!
